I have a huge variety of purses, but lately, I'm drawn to the cross-body style. They're usually not too big (the bigger the purse, the more stuff that finds its way and not out), and it's easy to carry. I like that this purse is leather which is a must for me, and for a very reasonable price. I don't care if a purse is designer, but it must be leather. As for size, it holds everything I need: my large wallet (which I stand on end), my keys, lipstick, iPod, and a comb--with some room to spare. I use the pocket on the inside for the lipstick and lip balm because it's too small for my cellphone, but the phone fits nicely in one of the two outside zippered compartments. I wish the strap were slightly wider, but that's my only complaint
